This is the splendid Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad. Built by Hussain Shah Wahi in the year 1562, it is one of the few man-made lakes in India. The lake, which serves as a link between Hyderabad and Secunderabad, was constructed on the tributary of River Musi to provide adequate water supply to the city.Also there is a Buddha Statue Standing in the middle of Hussain Sagar Lake, is one of the major attractions of Hyderabad. With a height of 72 feet (22 meters) and a whopping weight of more than 450 tons, Buddha Statue has the fame of being the largest single stone statue of Buddha not just in India but also in entire world.
