Route by road : There are few buses from Kothagudem, Paloncha , Bhadrachalam and khammam to reach Kinnerasani but the best and convenient way to reach this sanctuary is to hire a cab from Bhadrachalam .

Brief Description:
The Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary occupies an area of 635.40 sq.km and is located some 21 Km from Paloncha. The sanctuary is home for different species of flora and fauna and is always covered with lush greenery. Inside the sanctuary the visitors can see variety of animals like Hyena, Jackal, Sloth Bear, Wild Dogs, Sambar, Panther, and Tiger etc. Various tree and plant species like Cassia, Anogissus, Bamboo, Terminalias, etc also exist here. There is a Kinnerasani Lake in the sanctuary with a island in the centre covered with thick forest. This offers a picturesque sight while there are some Marsh crocodiles in the lake and some water pools in the premises of the sanctuary. The best time to visit is between May to October when there are rains and the forest is lush with greenery all-over. Very close to the sanctuary, there is a Kinnerasani Dam and reservoir along the Kinnerasani River. A Deer Park is also in the close vicinity of the sanctuary.
Kinnerasani:
This dam is very nearby Palocncha and is attracting people all over the country to visit. The cool bracing wind whips the hair about your faces as you ramble along the streets that dip and rise delightfully. Breathtaking views surprise you from pretty cottages as you sniff appreciatively the heady fragrance of the Kinnerasani waters.
